Raudonė Castle Tower

Raudonė Castle stands on a hilltop above the Nemunas River, offering one of the finest viewpoints along Lithuania's most important waterway. The current neo-gothic building dates primarily from the 19th century, though the site has been fortified since the 16th century. The castle's tower is the main attraction for visitors — the observation platform provides sweeping views over the Nemunas valley, with the river meandering through forests and farmland below. The panorama is particularly beautiful in autumn when the river valley turns to gold.
