Baisogala Manor
Radviliškis, Šiauliai1-1.5 hoursBest: May to October
A once-grand neoclassical manor house in central Lithuania — partially restored but still atmospheric, surrounded by a beautiful park with ancient trees and a lake.
Baisogala Manor is a neoclassical estate that exemplifies the fate of many Lithuanian manor houses. The main building, with its columned portico and symmetrical wings, was once the center of a wealthy agricultural estate. After Soviet nationalization, it was used for various institutional purposes and fell into partial disrepair.
The surrounding park, with its mature trees, lake, and remnant formal gardens, retains much of its original beauty and is worth a visit in its own right.
